Stardust

You play an apprentice star-witch trying to make it through one long night. Enemies come at you from every side and don't stop, so you keep moving, dodge what you can, and let your spells do the killing while you stay alive.

Your magic fires on its own. What you actually decide is where to stand and which upgrades to take. Every few levels you pick a new card, and those choices stack into a build: comets that burns everything near you, star-bolts that hunt enemies down, a pulse that clears space when you get cornered. Last long enough and the boss turns up. It's called The Eclipse. Good luck.
